Nicosia, Cyprus. More than 270 premium single malt whisky, blend, bourbon and rum labels will be featured at the 6th Nicosia Whisky & Rum Experience at Moondog’s Bar & Grill on February 3 and 4. The two-day event will include tastings, masterclasses and other activities focused on whisky and rum.
Event programme and tastings
Organisers said sampling activities, finger food and participation in masterclasses will highlight the tastes and aromas of different labels. The event will take place at Moondog’s Bar & Grill in Nicosia from 5pm to 12am on both days and is for people aged 18 and over.
Masterclasses and brand ambassadors
The sixth edition will host six masterclasses, each limited to an intimate number of participants, and organisers encouraged those interested to book in advance. Brand ambassadors from each supplier will be present to share information about whisky and rum.
Exclusive Area and ticketing
A specially designed Exclusive Area inside Moondog’s will offer tastings of additional selected labels that are not easily found in the market for tastings. Tickets for the VIP experience and seats for the masterclasses are sold at Moondogs and online at www.rabbithop.cy.
Organisers’ statement
Organisers described the event as an opportunity to showcase the character of whisky and rum through a range of tastes, aromas and textures, and invited visitors to take part in what they called an exclusive journey of knowledge and memories.
