Limassol, Cyprus. Agronomos party leader Andreas Christophi on Wednesday filed his candidacy for the forthcoming parliamentary elections in the Limassol district. He said the party would seek the public’s vote and bring change to society.

Christophi described the day as “a day of celebration for democracy” and said the party’s “positions and programme are as clear as day.” He said they would “bring change to society and to the people” and added that the party would ask for the people’s vote.

He said that “we have impoverished 60 per cent of the citizenry and it is time to take the right path.”
Party background and outlook
Agronomos was formed in January and is not expected to win a seat.
