London, United Kingdom. Akel won the most votes among Cypriots who voted in the United Kingdom, taking 38.2% of ballots cast at the two polling stations set up in the country. A total of 997 votes were cast.
Vote totals
Akel won 381 votes, while Disy was the second most popular party among voters in the UK, with 223 votes, or 22.4% of the total. Volt came third with 137 votes, equal to 13.7% of the vote.
Other parties
Diko placed fourth among voters in the UK with 6.4%, followed by Alma with 5.4% and Elam with 3.9%. Dipa placed seventh with 3.3% of the vote, while Direct Democracy Cyprus took 2.3% and Edek won 1.6%, or 16 votes.
Lower totals
The Ecologists’ Movement won 1.4% of votes, or 14 ballots, among UK voters. Sikou Pano! won seven votes, while the Democratic National Movement (DEK) and the Lacedaemonians won two votes each.
Independent candidate Ifigenia Katchie and the Green Party won one vote each.
