Nicosia, Cyprus. Antonella Lydia Mantovani was on Thursday re-elected as the Latin Cypriot community’s non-voting representative in parliament. She will serve a third five-year term.
Unopposed re-election
Mantovani was the sole candidate to register for the seat on Wednesday. After 24 hours passed following the close of nominations with no objections filed against her candidacy, she was proclaimed the winner unopposed.
Term details
The 54-year-old was first elected to the role in 2016. The seat is due to be contested again in 2031.
