Aradippou, Cyprus. A 52-year-old man was killed in a road accident on Sunday evening in Aradippou. Two other people involved were taken to hospital by ambulance.
Collision on Ellada avenue
Police said the man, a Dromolaxia resident identified as Nicos Nicolaou, was driving along Ellada avenue in Aradippou at around 7.30pm when he collided with a vehicle driven by a 68-year-old who had a 34-year-old passenger.
Emergency response and hospitalisation
The fire brigade released Nicolaou from his car and he was taken by ambulance to Larnaca general hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The 68-year-old driver and the 34-year-old passenger were also taken to hospital by ambulance, and the 68-year-old was admitted for observation.
