Limassol, Cyprus. Police are investigating a bakery robbery in Limassol after two suspects stole a cash register drawer containing €300 early on Friday. The suspects fled the scene on a motorcycle, and inquiries are continuing.
Incident at bakery
A company distributor saw a hooded man inside the bakery at about 3.30am while he was trying to remove the cash register drawer.
Attempt to stop suspect
The distributor and a bakery employee tried to stop the suspect, but he broke free and ran from the scene.
Escape and investigation
Police said a second suspect was waiting outside on a motorcycle. The two left together in an unknown direction. Investigations by Limassol CID are ongoing.
