Paralimni, Cyprus. BirdLife Cyprus will host a family-friendly birdwatching and nature exploration morning at Paralimni Lake on February 1 to mark World Wetlands Day. The event will run from 10am to 12.30pm and will provide free educational material for all ages.
Event programme and wildlife
Visitors will be able to observe flamingos wintering in their natural habitat at Paralimni Lake. Organisers said attendees may also see various duck species, including Mallards, Shelducks and Teals, as well as herons and other waterbirds.

BirdLife Cyprus is organising the event in collaboration with the Paralimni Youth Council and the groups Paralimni Lake Photography and Friends of the Flamingo Lake.
