Rain and storms forecast to spread across the island
Rain is expected to affect the west and north first, then move southwards and eastwards as the day progresses. The south coast is not expected to be spared wet weather.
Sunday temperatures and mountain snowfall risk
Temperatures are expected to reach 18 degrees Celsius inland and on the south and east coasts, 16 degrees Celsius on the west and north coasts, and nine degrees Celsius in the mountains. Snow may fall on the Troodos mountains.
Overnight conditions and frost expected in the mountains
Overnight, more rain and cloud are forecast, particularly in the west. Temperatures are expected to drop to seven degrees Celsius inland, 12 degrees Celsius on the west coast, nine degrees Celsius on the rest of the coasts, and one degree above freezing in the mountains, where frost is expected early on Monday.
Monday outlook and Tuesday trend
Monday is expected to bring more cloud and isolated showers, mainly in the west and north, with clouds, rain and storms moving southwards during the day. Snow may again be possible on the Troodos mountains. Temperatures are expected to dip slightly on Monday before rising again on Tuesday.
