Chaos at the casualty dept in Limassol

The patients of the casualty department of the Limassol public hospital are complaining about enormous queues. Due to lack of specialist and free spaces in the wards, and due to increase n the number of people infected with flu, some patients are being examined directly in the waiting room.

The examination becomes even more difficult due to the absence of the CT scanner. In order to do the CT scan, patients are directed to other hospitals and clinics.

The employees at the casualty department also express their concerns because such problems keep coming back again and again. No measures to resolve them, however, were taken.
