Chinese Embassy Donates €3,000 to Cyprus Red Cross

Nicosia, Cyprus. The Chinese embassy on Thursday donated €3,000 to support the humanitarian work of the Cyprus Red Cross. The donation was handed over by Chinese Ambassador Yang Yundong during a meeting at the organisation’s headquarters in Nicosia.

Support for humanitarian work

Cyprus Red Cross President Fotini Papadopoulou said the donation from the embassy of the People’s Republic of China would substantially strengthen the organisation’s humanitarian work and its efforts to support people in need.
