Chloroform was found in superglue in Cyprus

Лаборатория

The State laboratory has discovered dangerous concentration of chloroform in certain super-glues, which were purchased in supermarkets in Cyprus. This concerns the products made by the companies Aite Cool and High Tech.

According to the European norms, the safe concentration of chloroform for humans is 0,1%, because this is hazardous substance, which can cause damage to human organs. Upon coming in contact with eyes, it may cause irritation, whereas prolonged exposure with the skin may cause ulcers.

The Labor Department of Cyprus urges to immediately stop the use of these super-glues, return it back to the shops and inform the authorities via the phone: 22405637, 22405611 or 22405609.
