Christodoulides spoke on Saturday evening with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan about what he described as rapidly escalating developments in the region.
He expressed what he called unwavering solidarity, full support and deepest condolences for casualties resulting from what he described as deplorable strikes against the UAE.
Support for de-escalation and dialogue
In a post on X, Christodoulides said that at what he called a critical moment, he reaffirmed full support for de-escalation and the resumption of dialogue.
