Limassol, Cyprus. The Cult & B-Movies Festival will return next month for its 2026 edition with a two-day programme in Limassol on February 7 and 8.
Festival venue and organisers
The screenings will be hosted at Polychoros Synergeio. The festival is organised by Brave New Media and Cyprus Cult Cinephiles, in collaboration with the Limassol Film Club and the CyFi Festival, with the aim of highlighting and re-evaluating films outside established cinematic rules.
Programme for February 7
The festival will open with Jacques Tati’s Playtime (1967) on February 7 at 6pm. Andreas Papakyriakou will present his film Leo Brasina at 8.30pm and will be present at the screening. A DJ party will follow the screenings to close the first night.
Programme for February 8
The second evening will begin at 7pm with Selected Cult Length Films, in collaboration with the CyFi Fest, under the curation of Andreas Kyriakou. The Detached House by Ioakim Mylona will be screened at 8.30pm in the presence of the director.
Additional screening and practical information
The Detached House will also be screened at the CyFi Fantasy Festival at Pantheon Cinema in Nicosia on February 20, 21 and 22. The Cult & B-Movies Festival will take place at Polychoros Synergeio in Limassol, with Saturday screenings starting at 6pm and Sunday screenings starting at 7pm.
