Larnaca, Cyprus. Customs officers seized three watches with an estimated combined value of €57,000 from a passenger arriving at Larnaca airport from Switzerland, the customs department said on Monday.
The watches were found in the luggage of a Cypriot citizen on an inbound flight from Switzerland.
The passenger had not declared the watches and was fined €4,584.
He also paid €10,843 in taxes to regain possession of the watches.
