Paris, France. The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) said on Monday that a Cypriot delegation had a successful participation at the Eurosatory 2026 international defence, security and equipment exhibition held in Paris last week. The chamber said the country’s presence reflected progress made in recent years in the defence industry and produced tangible results.
Cyprus presence at exhibition
In a statement, Keve expressed satisfaction with the outcome of Cyprus’ participation at one of the world’s leading events for the defence and security sectors.
According to the chamber, the country’s presence showed that Cyprus has developed a competitive ecosystem of businesses creating innovative and technologically advanced end products for international defence, security and space markets.
Delegation and exhibits
The delegation included 14 companies and one Centre of Excellence, which presented a broad range of products, solutions and applications covering key areas of defence and security.
Keve congratulated all participants for what it described as a strong and well-organised presence at the exhibition.
Public-private cooperation
Keve said the Cypriot pavilion demonstrated effective cooperation between the public and private sectors.
It said the pavilion was organised through collaboration between Keve, the Ministry of Defence, the Association of Research and Innovation Enterprises and the Defence and Space Business Clustre.
According to the chamber, this cooperation contributed decisively to the cohesion, organisation and effective promotion of Cyprus’ participation at the exhibition.
Results highlighted
The chamber added that particular importance was attached to the tangible results achieved during the event.
