The road safety activists are urging the public to remain attentive on the roads during the holiday period.
The representative of the activists Mr. Marios Stavrou reminded that “the main participants of the festivities are children, who are especially vulnerable on the roads”. This is the reason why the activists are suggesting to reduce the speed limits to 30 km/h and to refrain from driving under the influence of alcohol.
The Consumers Association of Cyprus also recommends to remain cautious during the Christmas period and to check the expiry dates on all products and to spend money sparingly in order to protect themselves from the unpleasant financial consequences in the next.
