Larnaca, Cyprus. Cyprus Airways has signed a new agreement with Bird Aviation for heavy aircraft maintenance services, extending the partnership between the two Cyprus-based aviation companies.
Maintenance services
Under the agreement, Bird Aviation will continue to provide heavy technical support for the Cyprus Airways fleet through scheduled maintenance services at its facilities in Larnaca.
The services include periodic inspections and other scheduled technical work intended to maintain aircraft availability while meeting technical and safety requirements.
Operational strategy
Cyprus Airways said the renewed agreement reflects its investment in technical standards and the efficiency, reliability and availability of its fleet.
The airline said dependable technical support remains central to its operational strategy as it expands its route network and upgrades passenger services.
“Safety, reliability and operational excellence are the cornerstones of the experience Cyprus Airways offers,” Cyprus Airways chief executive Thanos Paschalis said.
