Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry to host forum on space technology and AI on June 8, 2026

Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve), in partnership with the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence, will host a forum on June 8, 2026, focused on integrating space technology and artificial intelligence into the European economy. The event will take place at the Landmark Nicosia hotel under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the EU.

Event scope and schedule

Titled “From Space to Solutions: Leveraging Space Technology, Earth Observation & AI for Real-World Impact”, the forum will run from 09:00 to 16:00. Organisers said it aims to bridge the gap between complex satellite data and practical applications across diverse industries.

Participants and topics

The gathering is expected to bring together European policymakers, space agencies, research institutions and industry leaders to discuss how digital innovation can support economic growth. The programme will focus on turning Earth Observation and AI into functional tools for sectors including agriculture, climate monitoring and the environment.

Applications and resilience

The forum will also address needs in maritime and shipping, urban development and civil security, with a focus on enhancing resilience and crisis management capabilities. Organisers said the programme will include high-level panels, thematic discussions and policy reflections intended to help shape the regional innovation ecosystem.

Matchmaking and participation

Dedicated sessions for business-to-business (B2B), business-to-government (B2G) and research matchmaking are scheduled to support direct collaboration. Organisers said these sessions offer Keve members an opportunity to engage with international partners and technology providers active in the European space sector.

Registration deadline

Interested parties must submit an expression of interest by completing an online form by May 25, 2026, to allow arrangements to be finalised.
