Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) announced it will organise a business delegation to Astana, Kazakhstan, from June 2 to June 4, 2026. The initiative is being organised in collaboration with Invest Cyprus, the Cyprus presidency and the Cyprus-Kazakhstan Business Association.
Delegation programme
Keve said the initiative will centre on a business forum and B2B engagements scheduled for June 3, 2026, aimed at strengthening economic relations between Cyprus and Kazakhstan. The delegation is expected to promote investment opportunities and business cooperation by bringing together private sector stakeholders, investors and business leaders from both countries.
Focus sectors
Organisers said the event seeks to foster strategic partnerships and facilitate cross-border business engagement in sectors identified as having strong growth potential. These sectors include information and communications technology, financial services and fintech, renewable energy, agriculture, tourism and hospitality, and pharmaceuticals, which Keve said offer significant opportunities for Cypriot companies.
Participation and expected outcomes
Keve said participation will provide high-level networking opportunities with Kazakh business leaders, alongside targeted B2B meetings and direct engagement with key market players. It added that participants will gain insights into Kazakhstan’s investment climate and sector-specific prospects to help companies assess potential entry strategies and partnerships.

Keve encouraged its members to explore Kazakhstan’s market and expand their presence in priority sectors of mutual interest, citing the broader objective of deepening bilateral economic ties. Interested parties were invited to express their interest by May 11, 2026, to allow organisers to proceed with arrangements for the delegation.
