Cyprus, Greece and Malta will sign a naval agreement

The 5th trilateral meeting between Greece, Malta and Cyprus regarding the naval communications took place in Athens. During the meeting, the ministers of defence and naval transport discussed the ways to improve the coordination between the three countries at the political level, as well as prospects of expansion of cooperation.

Moreover, they have shared their views concerning issues such as reduction of waste dumped from the ships, as well as support and development of competitiveness of the European shipping sector.

The new summit is set for the 29th of March. For the time being, the three states will sign the memorandum of intentions.
