Cyprus industrial output prices edge up in December 2025, Cystat data show

Nicosia, Cyprus. Cyprus’ Index of Industrial Output Prices recorded small monthly gains in December 2025 and rose slightly from a year earlier, according to data published by Cystat. The index declined marginally over the full year.


December index level and overall changes

The index reached 122.6 units in December 2025, with 2021 set as the base year at 100 units. This marked a 0.2% increase compared with November 2025 and a 0.3% rise compared with December 2024.

Full-year performance

For January to December 2025, the index decreased by 0.3% compared with the same period of 2024.

Monthly changes by sector

On a monthly basis, prices in mining and quarrying were unchanged in December 2025 compared with November. Prices increased by 0.8% in water supply and materials recovery, while manufacturing prices rose by 0.3%, and electricity supply increased by 0.1%.

Annual changes by sector

On an annual basis, mining and quarrying prices increased by 8.8% compared with December 2024. Water supply and materials recovery rose by 0.7% year on year, while manufacturing prices increased by 0.3%, and electricity supply prices were unchanged.
