Cyprus industrial output prices rise 2.3% year on year in June

Nicosia, Cyprus. The Index of Industrial Output Prices increased by 2.3 per cent in June 2026 compared with the same month a year earlier, according to the Cyprus Statistical Service (Cystat). The index reached 125.8 units, based on 2021=100, up 0.3 per cent from May.


First-half performance

Between January and June 2026, the index recorded an overall increase of 0.8 per cent compared with the corresponding period of 2025.

Monthly changes by sector

Compared with May 2026, output prices in mining and quarrying, manufacturing and electricity supply each rose by 0.3 per cent in June.

Water supply and materials recovery was the only main industrial sector to record a monthly decline, falling by 0.2 per cent.

Annual sector changes

All main industrial sectors recorded annual price increases in June 2026.

Water supply and materials recovery registered the highest annual increase, rising by 5.8 per cent. Electricity supply followed with a 3.6 per cent increase compared with June 2025.

Manufacturing prices rose by 1.8 per cent year on year, while mining and quarrying increased by 1.6 per cent.

Manufacturing divisions

Within manufacturing, the largest annual increase was recorded in the manufacture of electronic and optical products and electrical equipment, which rose by 10.8 per cent.
