Cyprus prepares for festival-filled July with music, culture and village celebrations

Nicosia, Cyprus. Cyprus is set for a busy festival season in July 2026, with more than 20 events planned across the island, ranging from traditional village celebrations and food festivals to music events and cultural performances.


Larnaca Festival returns for July

Larnaca Municipality will organise another summer programme of cultural productions through the Larnaca Festival, which will run throughout July.

The 2026 programme includes a concert tribute to Stavros Xarhakos, choir ensembles, an acrobatic dance show from Denmark, a live performance by Yiannis Kotsiras, ancient Greek drama, the Mikis Theodorakis Popular Orchestra and the Sofia National Opera Ballet.

Loud Music Festival in Limassol

Loud Music Festival will return from July 2 to 5 at The Warehouse in Limassol with four days of music, dance and party events.

The opening night will feature live performances and disco music. The programme will continue with RnB and Afro beats on July 3, EDM and techno on July 4, and old school and Greek music on July 5.

Faneromeni26 Arts Festival marks 10 years

The annual Faneromeni26 Arts Festival at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation will run until September 10 as it marks 10 years.

The festival will present five productions this summer combining culture, art, history and the museum’s collections and exhibits. Events in the courtyard began on June 25 with a musical performance, followed by the Lyra Quartet and Kalesma on July 9, the music act Tracks on July 30, and the performance Ledra’s Lament in September.

Milk Festival in Dali

The Milk Festival in Dali, Nicosia, will highlight local produce and live music on July 3 at Halkanora Stadium.

Greek singers Andromachi and Sakis Rouvas are scheduled to perform as dairy producer Charalambides Christis invites the public to sample traditional products including anari, yoghurt, rice puddings, halloumi and fresh trahanas.

Ancient Greek drama festival across three venues

The 29th International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama will take place from July 3 to August 8, with performances from Spain, Latvia, Greece and Cyprus.

Productions will be staged at the Curium Ancient Theatre in Limassol, the Ancient Odeon in Paphos and the Makarios III Amphitheatre in Nicosia. The programme includes Euripides’ The Trojan Women, Hecuba and Alcestis, Aristophanes’ Lysistrata, and Seven Against Thebes by Aeschylus.

Carrot Festival in Liopetri

Liopetri, near Ayia Napa, will host the Pancypriot Carrot Festival at the Achyrona Municipal Stadium.

The event will feature carrot-based sweet and savoury dishes, cocktails, jams, liqueurs, carrot cakes, ice creams and other products. Entertainment will include performances by local artists, live radio links and a concert headlined by Greek singer Giannis Ploutarchos.

Lavender Festival in Platres

Platres will host its 2026 Lavender Festival for one day, featuring live music, gastronomy workshops and wellness activities centred on lavender.

The event will include performances with guitar, bouzouki and saxophone, while 32 exhibitors will take part in a market running from 11am to 9pm with handmade lavender products, cosmetics, candles, arts and crafts.
