Nicosia, Cyprus. Reservoirs across Cyprus reached 37.9% of capacity on Monday, a marked increase from 23.6% at the same time last year. Water continues to flow into dams following recent rainfall.

The dams are 37.9% full, corresponding to 110 million cubic metres of water. According to the Water Development Department, inflows over the past three days totaled 2.17 million cubic metres.

April has been particularly wet, with precipitation at 175% of normal.
Key dam levels
Kouris dam, the island’s largest, stood at 35.9% of capacity, compared with 19.2% at the same time last year. Asprokremmos dam in Paphos district was at 38.6%, compared with 24.1% a year earlier.
