Nicosia, Cyprus. Cyprus statistical service Cystat reported broad-based growth in the island’s services and transport sectors during the fourth quarter of 2025.
Fourth-quarter sector performance
Cystat said the Turnover Value Index in the fourth quarter of 2025 increased by 9.5 per cent in accommodation and food service activities compared with the corresponding quarter of 2024.
Real estate activities recorded growth of 5.7 per cent over the same period.
Administrative and support service activities rose by 4.1 per cent compared with the fourth quarter of the prior year.
Professional, scientific and technical activities increased by 3.4 per cent as the year ended.
The information and communication sector recorded a 2.1 per cent rise compared with the end of 2024.
Transport and storage activities increased by 1.4 per cent in the fourth quarter.
Annual performance in 2025
For the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, Cystat reported significant increases across all monitored categories.
Accommodation and food service activities recorded an annual increase of 9.5 per cent over the twelve-month period.
Administrative and support service activities posted an annual turnover rise of 7.4 per cent.
