Cyprus will no have shortages of fresh water

The Minister of Agriculture of Cyprus Mr. Nicos Kouyialis stated that there will be no shortage of water in Cyprus. The Minister pointed out that regardless of recent rains, the dams of Cyprus were not refilled significantly, however he expressed hope that the more rains will follow.

The current level of water is at 20% of the overall capacity. He also added that the budget for 2017 includes the 65 million Euros for the operation of the desalination plants.
