CySEC orders Cyprus Investment Firms to submit updated annual fee calculations for 2025

Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) issued a directive requiring all Cyprus Investment Firms to calculate and submit their annual regulatory fees for the previous year using an updated form.

Updated fee calculation form

CySEC said the relevant form has been updated to include the specific fee structures for 2025 and is available on its website. All Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs) are obliged to complete the revised calculation form to determine the exact amount owed for their annual operations.

Required inputs and supporting documents

To ensure an accurate assessment, firms must complete the designated grey cells in fields 1.5 through 1.7 in line with the technical instructions provided by the commission. Firms must also submit an extract from their audited financial statements disclosing total turnover for the 2025 financial year.

Submission and payment requirements

CySEC said evidence of the annual fee payment must be included as a mandatory annex. The completed and signed document must be submitted electronically via the official online portal, and payment of the required fee must be made simultaneously with the digital filing.

Deadline and support

Firms must finalise submissions within four months of the end of the financial year, with a deadline of April 30, 2026. CySEC said firms seeking additional information or technical support can contact the accounts department via the dedicated email address.

Have you confirmed your firm’s turnover extract, payment evidence, and online submission are ready ahead of the April 30, 2026 deadline?
