Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) warned investors about several websites operating without authorisation to provide investment services. The regulator said the sites are not linked to any entity licensed under Cyprus law.
Websites named in the warning
CySEC said that topmarketsolution.com, cfdcapita.com, and globaletradecif.com are not connected to any entity licensed in Cyprus to offer investment services or carry out investment activities.
Legal requirements for investment services
CySEC said providing investment services requires formal approval under Article 5 of Law 87(I)/2017, which governs the operation of investment firms in Cyprus.
Advice to investors
The commission said the websites do not belong to regulated entities and warned of potential risks for investors engaging with unlicensed platforms. CySEC urged the public to remain cautious and to verify a firm’s authorisation status before carrying out any financial transactions, and advised investors to consult the official CySEC website to confirm whether a company is properly licensed to provide investment services.
