Limassol, Cyprus. A 30-year-old man was seriously injured in a traffic accident shortly after midnight on Wednesday on the Limassol–Paphos highway while driving toward Limassol.
Crash near Erimi exit
The collision occurred near the Erimi exit when the vehicle veered off the road and struck a metal railing, where it came to a stop.
Rescue and medical treatment
Firefighters extricated the driver from the vehicle before he was transported to a private hospital in Limassol for treatment. He sustained injuries to his legs, and his condition was described as very serious.
Investigation ongoing
Police said they are continuing their investigations.
