EAC customer service centres to close for two hours on Feb. 27 due to union work stoppage

Nicosia, Cyprus. Customer service centres and offices of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) will remain closed from 7.45am to 10am on Friday, February 27, due to a work stoppage announced by the organisation’s four trade unions. EAC said services will resume after 10am.

Temporary closure

EAC said on Thursday that the closure is due to a work stoppage announced by its four trade unions.

Electricity supply and bill payments

EAC said the work stoppage will not disrupt electricity supply to consumers. It also said bills can be paid online through its website, mobile app, banking sites, and at post offices across Cyprus.

How will you pay your EAC bill during the temporary closure?
