Nicosia, Cyprus. Police said eight people were arrested during overnight operations focused mainly on drugs and property offences, drink driving, and pending arrest warrants.
Vehicle checks and reports
Police said officers pulled over 566 vehicles and checked 688 drivers and passengers. A total of 351 reports were filed, including 12 for drink driving and five for driving under the influence of drugs.
Investigations and impoundments
Police said 20 cases under investigation were identified and 18 vehicles were impounded.
Establishment raids
Police said officers raided 29 establishments and filed three reports.
