Emergency call and response
The fire department received an emergency call about the fire on Wednesday morning. The Paphos fire station responded with two fire engines and brought the fire under control.
Damage reported
An external wooden structure was affected, while fire and heat damaged the restaurant’s equipment and the rest of the interior.
Kitten rescued and investigation ongoing
No one was inside the building except a kitten, which was promptly rescued from the scene. An investigation into the fire is ongoing.
