Limassol, Cyprus. A forest fire that broke out near the Limassol district village of Pyrgos on Sunday was extinguished within about half an hour, the forestry department said.
The fire started at around 3.20pm, and five firefighters from the nearby village of Parekklisia were called to the scene, according to the forestry department. The blaze was extinguished by 3.46pm.
