Paphos, Cyprus. Police arrested four people on Tuesday in Paphos on suspicion of drug possession after stopping a vehicle and carrying out a search. Officers reported finding cocaine, cannabis, methamphetamine and cash.
Vehicle stop and individuals involved
Police said the car was driven by a 28-year-old man, with two 32-year-old men and an 18-year-old woman as passengers.
Items seized during the search
During the search of the vehicle and the individuals, officers found a quantity of cocaine with a total gross weight of approximately one kilogram and 30 grams, around 150 grams of cannabis, half a gram of methamphetamine and €3,060 in cash.
Arrests and court proceedings
All four were arrested for offences committed in the act and taken to Paphos police headquarters for further investigation. Police said they are expected to be brought before the Paphos district court for the issuance of detention orders.
Investigation ongoing
Police said investigations into the case remain ongoing.
