Gulf states report Iranian missile and drone attacks during US-Israeli air war against Iran

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Defence ministries and militaries in several Gulf states released figures on Iranian drone and missile attacks on their territories since the start of the US-Israeli air war against Iran. The data, current as of 9 March, covers the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

No figures were available for Saudi Arabia or Oman.

United Arab Emirates figures

The UAE reported 253 ballistic missiles detected, with 233 intercepted and 18 falling into the sea. Two ballistic missiles landed on UAE territory. The UAE detected 1,440 drones, intercepted 1,359, and reported 81 falling within the country. It also reported eight cruise missiles detected and destroyed.

Qatar figures

Qatar reported 127 ballistic missiles detected and 118 intercepted. Of 63 drones detected, 47 were intercepted. Qatar also reported seven cruise missiles detected and destroyed. Qatari forces said they intercepted two Sukhoi SU-24 aircraft.

Bahrain figures

Bahrain reported 105 missiles and 176 drones destroyed, without further breakdown.

Kuwait figures

Kuwait reported detecting 120 ballistic missiles and 308 drones. Interception data was provided only for the period between 6 and 9 March, during which 17 missiles and 22 drones were intercepted. Kuwait reported attacks between 2 and 5 March but released no specific figures for that period.
