Residents of Larnaca are getting ready to celebrate the largest folklore flood festival “Kataklysmos”, which will be held from 2nd to 7th June at Athinon Avenue. As part of the event, the traditional street market Panigiri will be organised.
The festival program will include poetry evenings, dance performances and theatrical productions for residents and visitors of the city on any age.
Shadow theater festival will be held in the medieval fort of Larnaca, and in Europe Squre traditional Cypriot handicrafts will be displayed. Also, beach volleyball and blitz chess championships will take place on Finikoudes beach.
