Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) on Monday congratulated the newly elected members of the House of Representatives and expressed confidence in a productive parliamentary term focused on reforms and economic development.
Congratulations to new MPs
The chamber said its president and board of directors extended their warm congratulations to the new MPs and wished them success in their responsibilities.
Focus on reforms and cooperation
Keve said it believes the new parliamentary term will be a period of productive work and responsible decision-making, with emphasis on policies aligned with the needs of the economy and society.
It added that these efforts should contribute to the sustainable development and prosperity of Cyprus, particularly at a time of evolving economic demands.
The chamber said close cooperation between the state, parliament and the business community is more necessary than ever amid heightened international challenges and ongoing geo-economic developments.
Readiness to engage
Keve reaffirmed its readiness and willingness to engage constructively with the new House of Representatives.
It said it aims to contribute through evidence-based positions, constructive proposals and responsible recommendations, supporting policies that enhance competitiveness, business growth and social cohesion.
The organisation added that it will continue working towards a more outward-looking, sustainable and resilient economy, alongside strengthening entrepreneurship.
Its broader objective, it said, is to promote a prosperous and thriving society supported by a modern, efficient and development-friendly state framework.
