Los Angeles, United States. Cypriot sailor Pavlos Kontides moved into fifth place in the ILCA 7 standings after two Golden Fleet races at the Los Angeles Grand Slam. Marilena Makri is 16th overall in the ILCA 6 class.
ILCA 7 standings
Kontides qualified sixth for the Golden Fleet and finished fourth in both races.
Britain’s Michael Beckett leads the standings, followed by Ireland’s Finn Lynch, Britain’s Elliot Hanson and Australia’s Matt Wearn.

Makri placed sixth in the first Golden Fleet race, her best result of the regatta, and stands 16th overall.
