Larnaca, Cyprus. Green points operated by Larnaca’s district government organisation (EOA) will no longer accept bulk construction debris from house renovations, and each household will be limited to two visits per day.
Changes to waste acceptance
The Larnaca EOA announced on Monday that green points will stop accepting bulk construction debris from house renovations. Premises will need to hire skips at their own expense to remove waste materials.
Household visit limit
To ensure the smooth operation of green points, the EOA said it has set a maximum of two visits per day per household.
Request for public cooperation
The organisation asked the public to respect the operation of the green points, the nature of the facilities, and the work carried out by personnel employed at the sites. It said compliance with the instructions is necessary to ensure proper operation of the green points and the protection of the environment.
How will the new limits affect how you dispose of renovation waste?
