Polis Chrysochous, Cyprus. A 42-year-old man was arrested on Sunday after allegedly stabbing a 25-year-old man in the early hours of the morning. Police said an investigation is ongoing.
Alleged incident and injuries
The two men reportedly engaged in a verbal argument, during which the 42-year-old allegedly brandished a knife.
Both men were taken to the Polis Chrysochous hospital. The 25-year-old was found to have injuries to his neck and shoulder, while the 42-year-old had injuries to his head and face.
Hospital transfers and arrest
Both were later transferred to Paphos general hospital. Following examinations, the 25-year-old left voluntarily and the 42-year-old was discharged.
The 42-year-old was then arrested, and police said their investigation into the matter is ongoing.
