Man arrested in Limassol over alleged assault on bus driver

Limassol, Cyprus. A man was arrested on Thursday afternoon after allegedly attacking a female bus driver shortly after boarding a public bus, police said.

Investigation under way

Police officers responded to the scene and arrested the suspect, who was taken in for questioning.

The circumstances of the alleged assault remain under investigation. Police did not release further details or say whether the bus driver was injured.
