Melco-Hard Rock Resorts will build casino in Cyprus

The fate of the only license for the construction of the casino in Cyprus has been revealed. The company Melco-Hard Rock Resorts Cyprus won the tender for the license, which will be valid for 30 years.

The new resort will have over 100 tables and the accommodation block will have more than 500 rooms. It is expected that the construction of the project may commence as early as next year.

The Cyprus legislation permitted the construction of the project back in 2015. The tender lasted for more than one year and only last week the Ministry of Energy, Trade, Industry and Tourism announced the final decision.
