A low-pressure area centred in Egypt is moving north and is expected to affect the island from tomorrow. Dust will remain in the atmosphere until Sunday, with concentrations peaking at times.

Winds will blow mainly northeasterly to southeasterly at up to 4 Beaufort, reaching up to 5 Beaufort locally on the windward coast. The sea will be slightly rough to rough.

Tonight is expected to become overwhelmingly cloudy, with isolated rains mainly on the south and west coasts. Temperatures are forecast to drop to around 11 degrees Celsius inland and on the coasts, and to 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost may form locally. Winds will be mainly northeasterly, weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, later strengthening to 4 to 5 Beaufort, while the sea remains slightly rough to rough.
