Larnaca, Cyprus. A moped was destroyed after a fire broke out Monday night in an open area in the Tsiaakkilero district, police said. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
Fire reported in Tsiaakkilero
Police said authorities received information at around 8.40pm about a fire involving a moped in an open area in the Tsiaakkilero district of the city.
Fire brigade response
Members of the fire brigade extinguished the blaze, but the vehicle was completely destroyed, police said.
Investigation ongoing
Police said the Aradippou police station and Larnaca CID are investigating the cause of the fire.
