Nicosia, Cyprus. Moufflon enclosures in Platania and Stavros tis Psokas will remain closed to the public for precautionary reasons, the forestry department said on Monday.
Precautionary closure
The forestry department said the continued closure is intended to safeguard animal health and limit the spread of foot-and-mouth disease.

The department said that following preventive measures helps protect animals and preserve Cyprus’ biodiversity.
