Limassol, Cyprus. A 26-year-old Nepali woman died on Saturday after being critically injured in a traffic accident while riding an e-scooter on Tuesday, police said.
Collision on Nicos Pattichis street
Police said the crash occurred at 8am on February 10 on Nicos Pattichis street, when a car driven by a 52-year-old woman collided with Lakpadoma Sherpa’s scooter under circumstances that remain under investigation.
Hospitalisation and death
The woman was taken to a private hospital in Limassol, where she was intubated before dying early on Saturday morning.
Investigation ongoing
Police said investigations into the case are continuing.
