Nicosia, Cyprus. A 28-year-old man was remanded for seven days on Tuesday by the Nicosia district court after 1.5kg of drugs were found in his possession.
Search and seizure
Police said officers from the anti-drug unit carried out a court-approved search of the suspect’s home in Nicosia on April 23. During the search, 1.5kg of Class B synthetic cannabinoids and a large sum of money were found and seized.
Arrest and investigation
The suspect was arrested on Monday under a court warrant. The Nicosia Ykan unit is handling the case.
