Nicosia police discovered seven migrants

Presumably, illegal migrants crossed the border from the north. Around midnight they were detained in the central area of Akaki. Teenagers aged 16-17 years and a 24-year-old woman with two children aged 6 and 2.5 were among the migrants.

Social workers will take care of the underage refugees.

As it was reported earlier, this is not the first case of refugee detention on the island. This year alone Cyprus has already accepted 273 migrants and refugees.
