Nicosia, Cyprus. Golem Brewhouse has won two top awards at the Czech Brew Star competition in Brno, securing international recognition for its beers.

Golem Brewhouse was awarded a Diamond Medal for its Mosaic NEIPA and a Gold Medal for its IPA at the Czech Brew Star competition held in Brno.
Competition and judging
The event was judged through blind tastings by industry experts and featured hundreds of entries. A total of 17 Diamond and 15 Gold medals were awarded.
Judges’ remarks
Judges praised the Mosaic NEIPA for its “exceptional quality and sensory excellence,” while the IPA was recognised for its “perfect harmony of taste and aroma.”
Response from the brewery
Founder and brewer Michal Stourac described the achievement as a significant milestone for the small Nicosia-based team. “Winning diamond and gold in the Czech Republic, a country with a long brewing tradition, is an incredible honour,” he said, adding, “These awards are all about what’s in the glass.”
Stourac said the recognition extends beyond the brewery itself. “It’s an exciting moment not just for us, but for our Cypriot fans.”
