Nicosia Supports Cypriot Wine returns to Eleftheria Square on June 6

Nicosia, Cyprus. Cyprus wine will once again be in the spotlight in the capital this June as Nicosia Supports Cypriot Wine returns after last year’s edition. The event aims to promote Cyprus’ wine culture while combining wine tasting, community engagement and charity support.

Event details

Organised by the OinoArt Wine Lovers Group, Nicosia Municipality and Lions Club Nicosia Within the Walls, the event will be held at the lower level of Eleftheria Square on June 6. It will bring together wine enthusiasts, local producers and visitors in the centre of the city.

Wine tasting and admission

Visitors will be able to sample wines from wineries across Cyprus. A wine glass will cost €5 and will allow guests to taste a selection of wines from participating producers. Admission to the event is free.

Goals of the event

The event aims to support and promote Cypriot wineries by giving them a platform to present their products directly to the public. It also seeks to encourage tourism in Nicosia, particularly in the historic walled centre, while contributing to a charitable cause.

The event will take place at Eleftheria Square in Nicosia on June 6 from 6pm to 10pm. Admission is free.
